A year-old man has gone on trial at the Dubai Court of First Instance after he blackmailed a year-old boy and tried to coerce him into sex. According to Dubai public prosecution, the Emirati man, a jobless, threatened the boy, also an Emirati, that he would assault him and tell his parents about his smoking habit unless he lets him have sex with him. The incident was reported on January 25 this year at Al Qusais police station. During investigation, the boy recounted how he was with his brother at Oud Al Muteena Park when the defendant approached them. When I told him that I used to smoke, he began to threaten me that he would tell my parents about it. As I begged him not to report me, he asked me for sex. The boy told his brother later to leave. He then took me by taxi to Al Twar Park. There he could not find any restroom with no one around," the boy said.
