So yeah. Western standard of beauty? I started high school four hours away from middle school. No one knew me, there were no preconceptions based off my formative years. I became popular almost immediately due to this and my physical looks. But as I smoke and also because I get on better with boys my mental health and adhd means other girls often consider me too intense, energetic and sarcastic , so my friendship group was essentially the smokers , which at this high school consisted of all the popular boys and the most popular girls. I liked being popular, it helped my depression because I knew my friends were real - they all knew about my mental stuff , never spread it outside the group. And a surprising amount of the so called popular group were diagnosed with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders etc. I think to some extent the traits you need to be popular are fairly overlapping with those of poor mental health. Dating was great, I was too popular and close to the big, sporty popular boys to get messed around with so I never had any awful experiences.

Maureen plays Minecraft and checks messages in her living room, where she was sitting when her principal called her parents to tell them about a nearly naked picture of their daughter that circulated around her middle school. She crunched the cookies in her mouth, carefully mashing them into chunks. She spit. They made a plunk sound as they hit the toilet water. The worst, the absolute worst thing had happened, and now, Maureen was sure, this was her only option. She could not show her face in the seventh grade. She had to play sick. All day she lay crumpled on the couch, replaying what he'd said to persuade her. Then, last night, when he admitted he'd shown the photo to a few people:. At least she had been wearing a bra and underwear.

Photos of the crime and naked pictures of the incapacitated girl were posted on the popular social media site Snapchat , Clyde Hill police detectives say. Police were called to the home of a year-old girl on April 3. The girl's father told police his daughter had been raped at an April 1 house party on Yarrow Point. Police reported breaking up a house party of "approximately to " juveniles that night, with a "majority" of the crowd being intoxicated. She told police she drank whiskey and vodka heavily. She also told investigators she learned she was the only 8th grader at the party, and that others called her "the Legend" because she was the youngest person at a high school party. The victim told investigators she became heavily intoxicated and remembered dancing and falling asleep in a bedroom.
